    My problem was solved by replacing the caliper. One of the pistons was sticking and not retracting properly causing it to push the brake pad into the rotor.

    That's what I was thinking. If the caliper is bad though it must be pretty minor, because the rotor looks good. Is the way to go a new caliper or can they be rebuilt easily?
