I only do 3 pumps in the slip yokes at every oil change (5k). as others have said you can overfill - if you see them moving then you've gone too far.....
I run mine on a long straight country road or when it rains monthly. I also engage and disengage high and low 4wd several times before I drive to ensure the cylinoids stay active and lubricated.
100% agree - i prefer to check/inflate the tires after sitting for a day or 2. I just checked mine this morning due to temps dropping below 40 overnight.
You're getting 2 oil changes and 5 rotations. Oil changes are approx. $50 - rotations at a local shop are $15-20. Seems like $200 is a break even if you were to pay for it at the time of service.
Thanks for resurrecting this issue - i have a 2020 limited and didn't know it was widespread. I just popped it back in a few weeks back and didn't think about it. Reminded me of some of the tesla videos with fit and finish problems.
I'd encourage people to go into the transaction having already spoken to a bank/credit union. The dealers finance department makes a ton of $. My last two cars we went into the dealer with rates at 2.3% for 60 or 72 months - both times the dealer could not match. I can nearly guarantee that...
Nope - it's being reported over on mud that Toyota is announcing the LC will be discontinued after MY 2021. The LX will live on. Sad day for the LC, but not surprising.
I went with Xenon Depot Xtreme LED Pro for the highs and lows. Bought them through Headlight Revolution. I paired those with the OEM LED fogs. Color is nearly identical and the combo looks fantastic.
