I'm well aware of that. But those decisions weren't up to me until the past few years. If I had known better at the time, I would have told my dad otherwise. But hey, hindsight is 20/20.

(1-24-14) JUST PASSED SMOG!!!
(1-17-14) Fixed a timing issue that caused failed smog. Timing belt replaced and 2 cam gears reinstalled.
(1-17-14) Replaced head gaskets
Well, the two most important components that actually allow the truck to move only have 88k. Body hasn't weathered nearly as much as 2nd gens in other parts of the country much because it's been in socal most of its life. I'll see. I may lower the price a lot more in a few months if it doesn't...

Yeah I'd love to keep it and build it up for when I take trips with friends out to the trails or dunes. But being a daily driver in LA of all places, it isn't really ideal.
Here's mine that I thought I'd add to the collection before it's gone. I'm actually selling it. I'd love to keep it but as much as I drive I need something a little more efficient as a daily. Hopefully whoever takes it uses it the way it's intended.
