Jsmarine's 4runner build thread (lots of pics)

Well, I sold my 4runner 3 years ago; but to answer your question, with a 3 inch lift you should have no problems running 285/75/16 tires on stock rims. I dont remember any rubbing.

Yeah, I fixed the subscription now. And yeah, I still have the Tacoma, love it. I havent done much to it though in a while, bought a home a little over a year ago so the truck budget has become the house budget for now.

    2014 Lonestar Toyota Jamboree

Ive been to the Jambo several times, and I dont think they allow 2wd vehicles on the trails. 4wd vehicles have enough trouble as it is, and with the large groups on the trails, 2wd slows things down even more. Take your 4wd 4runner. As far as passengers, Id limit it to 3 including you...

I know I'm bad for not getting on here much anymore since Im hanging out on the Tacomaworld site now. Sksurf - I cant remember where I got that gauge pod, but it...

Nope not deployed, I have been out of the Marines for 7 years now. I sold the 4runner about a year ago and bought a Tacoma, so I dont get on T4R much anymore. My Tacoma: Jsmarine's Build Thread - Tacoma World Forums

    Jsmarine's 2005 Tacoma DCSB 4x4

I'm a little late posting this up on here, but about a month ago I cut out a little early from work so I could put my snorkel on. Other than it being hotter than hell here in Dallas, it went fairly smooth; I just took my time lining everything up. I didn't take as many pictures as I probably...

    Gun mounts

I think something like this (disregard what gun its for, just the holster is what I want to show) NEW UNCLE MIKES KYDEX LH HIP BELT HOLSTER WALTHER P99 | eBay would work right there. The left handed model would fit better in this case and you could bolt it to the driver side shifter panel area...

I also got my new ARB high output compressor installed that I bought from brand new off a guy on tacomaworld.com. He bought it new a while back, and never opened the box and wanted to free up some cash, so I got it for a few bucks less than retail price. I had the smaller ARB compressor...

    Jsmarine's 2005 Tacoma DCSB 4x4

I decided to paint the back of my IPF lights white, to match the truck. The paint was starting to fade and chip in places anyways. I didn’t take any before pictures actually, but the lights were a gray color. The process was pretty easy, disassembled the lights and painted them with Rustoleum...
