That is a good point.. I just took it has truth and went with it. PS took my 4500 lb trailer out last weekend.. 6v pulled it great!

I went with the 6v because I drive ALOT.. and wanted 2wd for everyday.. it is really up to you.. If they had 2wd/4wd switch in the 8v.. I would have gotten it.. The price is really not an issue.. But if you think you want the v8.. get it. Don't settle!!

If all you are gonna tow is a 500 lbs you can tow that with just about anything... the V6 will pull that no problem.. If you are gonna tow 5000 lbs plus.. then go 8v.. The 6v doesn't have a tranny cooler..
