I have owned them all from 1997 to 2002. There is no big difference in the older and newer models. The cup holder on the 1996-1998 is a pain in the rear. Other than that there are relative minor differences. My 98 Limited on demand 4WD works way better than any of the newer ones I have...

SO, I drain the block and start to thread the drain plug back in by hand. I grab the ratchet and extension an I hear the plug drop. ARGH> Couldn't find it. Finally I had to remove the AC bracket and the plug was laying behind the bracket. What bad luck. Anyway, I have a new radiator...

I did find it after a few minutes of searching. IT has a white paint stripe on it if you ever need to know. 14MM socket with long extension through the passenger side wheel well. Thanks again

The FSM says to drain the coolant by loosening the drain plugs. One is of course on the bottom of the radiator. The other looks like it is on the block somewhere? Can anyone post a pic or tell me where the block plug is? TIA JR

You mean IF I lived in another country I could just release some Freon back out of the system through the low side port ? I guess just let some out and re check the gauges ? Of course I wouldn't do it in this country. Thanks again Singtoe.

The air sometimes is very cold and sometimes not. IT seems like the air is cold when I am driving and the air is only cool when sitting at idle. Could the condenser be dirty on the outside ?
