yes, it has a ble wire but when connected to Metra connector - no action. Then wired to blue and white remote wire - nothing.

I installed my Kenwood KDC-X897 and still cannot get the antenna to go up and down. Taped up the oranage dimmer wire - did not use. Can one of you please give us a DIY on installing a switch to run the antenna up and down?

I just ordered some 6.75 Kickers for the front and 5.25" for the rear and those speaker adapters for thr rear. Any tips on the install? I plan to cut and solder on the connectors.

Thanks for the information TheDurk! With my Toyota factory radio/CD deck, power antenna worked fine. Up for radio - down when radio off or CD playing. I don't understand " apply 12V+ to that wire" with HU unplugged. I have a mutlimeter but have yet to use it (saddly).
