I see no problems running 265/70 size tire on a 9 inch wide wheel. Now I'm sure there can be an argument made to suggest otherwise, but as for everyday use and occasional off-road use (even aired down) I haven't seen a problem. As for "stance" the offset pushes the wheel out considerably...

Thanks! No rubbing, no spacers, just had to replace the lug nuts with a conical style set. The fitment is just right for me. All of my off-roading is on the beach, so no need for anything more aggressive.

Updated the 2018 with some new wheels/tires. Rocktrix RT110 17x9 -12et with Cooper Discoverer A/T 265/70R17 Surprisingly quiet and give the 4Runner a whole new look.
