not a pro at this... I'm pretty sure you would need an amp for this one. I am mounting mine on the back of my rear seats with a custom amp rack/ enclosure. As far as the X-overs are concerned I hear they can be mounted anywhere. A buddy of mine (who has been doing this for the last 17 years)...
