    6-speed Auto Transmission

Wouldn't that be something if Toyota offered one (or both) of these? My preference, of the two, would be: 6 speed mated to existing 4.7 L V8

    My 2008 Black Urban Runner

All I can say is "Wow"! That is very nice. Toyota didn't have the Urban when I bought my Limited; if they would have existed, I definately would have had a close look at them. Love the look of the seats, aren't those factory leather? Sweet ride all around!

    Should we Drill?

I've read that there's enough oil offshore to supply the entire USA for a period of 3 years or so, and that it would take the better part of 10 years to find and drill for it. So,.....hmmm, if this this true, me thinks it not such a great idea.

    Which 4runner?

Here are a few differences for the model years you are interested in that may or may not help you: V6 has ability to run in 2wd, V8 is full time 4x4. V6 has timing chain, V8 has timing belt. V6 oil filter top of engine, V8 oil filter bottom of engine (behind skid plate). V6 has a higher pitched...

Thieves are now drilling gas tanks?!?

You probably mentioned somewhere before, Thai, but you must have a big engine in your G-can? I've a friend with a 2006 Chevy TrailBlaster (that's what I call them) SuperSport. That thing has a big engine (about 400 horses or so), a 4-speed xmission (POS already had to have it replaced once...

Over 20 MPG on my V8 Oh Ya! :)

Exactly. When I got that 20.64 mpg from my manual calculations, the on-board trip meter read something like 23+ mpg. Too bad it's not accurate, but I don't know of any other vehicle that has one that's accurate. My neighbor has a Tahoe, and the on-board readout on his is way off also.

Over 20 MPG on my V8 Oh Ya! :)

:awais: Me! I do! Man, after that last fill-up at almost $80, let me be the first to volunteer!! :) :awais: Today I was driving on the freeway home from work, slowly at about 63 or so, and then someone from an on-ramp gets in front of me, and does about 58. Did I pass? Nooooooooooooo. :)...
