Anyone have a camping/sleeping setup inside of the 4Runner?

No problem. Thanks for doing work on behalf of a stranger on the internet. 80" is perfect to stretch out. Sent from my HD1905 using Tapatalk

What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

I plan on keeping the offroading tame, but based on the dirt on the passenger step and the hitch receiver I may have bottomed out a few times. Sent from my HD1905 using Tapatalk

What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

An old friend helped us take the runner offroad for the first time. It was our first time on anything more severe than washboards. Sent from my HD1905 using Tapatalk

Anyone have a camping/sleeping setup inside of the 4Runner?

Sounds roomy. Have you measured the length from front seat to closed Hatch? I need the back seats during the day and am trying to get an idea of whether I should plan on removing seat bottoms for sleeping. Sent from my HD1905 using Tapatalk

Brake Squeak and another odd sound.

I also think the second one sounds a lot like the *Hill start assist*, (different from the DAC) which does activate the brakes. It scared me when I drove it home from the dealer. Sent from my HD1905 using Tapatalk

Everyone loves my truck. I have been getting FLASHED

I had LASIK surgery several years ago. One of the side effects is a starburst or halo effect at night. IMO the LED street lamps cause more starburst than the sodium lamps, especially when they are trying to be yellow. Newer lamps seem to be better on my eyes though. Sent from my HD1905 using...

    Consolidated Slider Info Thread

Toyota has a branded slider that is less expense than the aftermarket options. Ofc they advertise being 77lb/set, so they should probably be considered sacrificial. Someone on here has them, they're high and tight. No good as a step. Sent from my HD1905 using Tapatalk

5th Gen Aluminum Roof Rack Using OEM Siderails: NiseRack

Possibly a dumb question, but my experience with these extrusions is that you have to plan ahead and install the T-nuts before closing out the edge with the bracket. Are the NiseRacks the same or do you buy the extrusions with a bored end? Alternatively are there drop-in nuts I am not aware of...

    Overlanding

Hey now that Ti fork might not matter much for car camping, but ounces add up when you are backpacking. *has hundreds of dollars of unused backpacking gear* Sent from my HD1905 using Tapatalk

Anyone know why this isn't stock? I don't like pulling myself up by the steering wheel. Sent from my HD1905 using Tapatalk

    Poll What Trim to buy

We bought the Venture because we already wanted everything in an ORP, plus blackout trim and a cargo basket. We don't plan on going nuts and may never even lift her, but need the TRD features to get out of questionable situations in the middle of nowhere. Sent from my HD1905 using Tapatalk

    TRD Off Road vs Premium

I'm spoiled from luxury cars, so the Venture ( basically ORP + blackout) was the right amount of creature comforts. The softex is really nice for fake leather, and the red stitching and accents are cool. Sent from my HD1905 using Tapatalk

What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Added Predator steps for the kiddo and clear bra. I think the steps will also save our pant legs this winter and the bolsters long-term. Yes, the dealer is more expensive but I knew that if I didn't get it done right away it would never happen. Sent from my HD1905 using Tapatalk
