alright, thanks guys. one more question, does the 1st gen have less electrical crap, like sensors, modules etc? because personally i will change 100000things for the cel to turn off, and older vehicles often have less electrical problems
your ideling should be around 750rpm warm, 1250pm cold. My suggestion would be get some throttle body cleaner ($2-3), clean your air intake ducts, your throttle body, in and out. A minor tune up would help.
