I can confirm the hood sensor for the alarm. You could get fancy and rig the alarm to go off when they disconnect the wiring for your lights or winch itself.

If it sounds like a duck quacking I have the same issue. I think I saw it has something to do with the antilock brakes.

Just saw this during a Google search. I'm not sure how old it is but yes, the police in Hawaii can use their own vehicles. One of the cops in Kailua had a supercharged Mustang, that thing was a beast!

Good stuff, thats why I take it nice and easy.

The relay will also keep the full power from running all the way from the power source to the switch and back to the lights. IMO the shorter you keep the full load wires the better.
