Ahhhh.....no he didn't. This thread isn't old at all. And who gives an actual **** if he does comment on an old thread. He used the search function and kept the right information in the right thread. In other words, he did exactly what he was supposed to do.

I agree on the bullbar. Our kids were 9 and 11 when I got an FJ. They loved jumping in that thing, it was never a problem. Car seats with younger kids might be an issue though.

As always, I'm buried with Tacoma stuff, so it won't be soon.

We have two dogs as well, so I don't want milk crates or anything in the cargo area. The area above the wheel wells is totally unused space right now, so this basket will get use out of that space and keep the cargo area open. The basket will also have grocery bag hooks.

I've been making things like this for the Tacoma for a few years now. Shop ? KB Voodoo Fabrications Since I have a 4Runner now, my next project is a cargo "basket" that will mount over the rear wheel wells. It will be black powder coated steel, and be designed to match the style of the 4Runner.

This gives me an idea for a new product. Off to the laboratory.....

Is it made for the 4Runner? Do you have a link?

It was the same way on my 2013 Tacoma... You get used to it and start to like it.

All those things were definitely worth it for me.

I've never seen a better looking Tacoma.

The "do not disturb" feature on the phone is excellent for that predicament.

What have you found for rear storage options? Lack of storage is my only gripe about my new 4Runner.
