The low beams will activate when it starts to get dark. The only thing the mod does is disable the DRL function. The regular headlights will operate normally.

I actually found a different company that I am going to try for the headlight mods for my Lexus. They are called aacstyle.com and are a lot cheaper and will sell you the kit so you can do it yourself if you want.

I ordered custom headlights from Custom Auto Lighting Upgrades. They were very expensive and took a long time to be finished but they did a good job.

One more pic This is the position of the relay in the fuse box. I could most likely bend pin 2 back in shape but that would weaken the pin so I wouldn't want to do it more than once. I hope this helps. Thanks to KDCANE and SAKER!

Another look with brights on I pulled it in the garage and the auto works.

Mod to turn off the DRL on gen 5 2014 It was very simple. I pulled the relay and instead of cutting pin 2 I bent it down and formed it so that the relay can still be plugged in. Now my lights work in auto without the DRLs on and my modified headlights, halo's and LED tubes look great.

FA1 is not easy to get to and I'm not sure how I'd know what pin 17 is. Do you know what color the wire is that connects to pin 17 and how do you count to pin 17, from the bottom up or top down? Thanks

Pin2? I'm not exactly sure what pin on the relay is pin 2. Does anyone know if you count from the wider side or the other side? I tried from the wide side by bending the pin next to the wide one down and it caused one side of the brights to not operate. Not sure what it did to the DRL because I...
