I bought these for my Silverado and they were horrible. Boots broke in less than a year and when I contacted the company about it they said best they could do is sell me the same parts again for the same price, since they had gone up in price. Lesson learned, don’t by Detroit Axle parts.

I try and go in and out of 4x4 at least a few times a month. This seems to keep the sensors free and working properly. I’ve noticed if I don’t, it will take a few tries to get it in 4wd. I replaced a few of the pressure sensors on top of the transfer case and this helped a lot.

When I had my hvac module rebuilt they told me that running LED lights causes a problem with the circuit board. Ended up having them put regular bulbs back in. It wasn’t more than 2 months after I put LEDs in my HVAC controls that it started malfunctioning.

Nice 4Runner. Very clean and well built.

Any synthetic DOT 3 brake fluid will hold up in our 4Runners. I usually just run the auto parts store house brand and have never had any problems.
