Scavenge pump was leaking from front most compression fitting. Got that sealed up and reinstalled, then went ahead and threw in the 6lb wastegate spring. I’m not sure if the spring ratings are inaccurate (ebay wastegate) or if I have reached the max boost with this turbo for the diameter...

Also late to the party on this one. I looked through this thread a few years back and decided it was time to give the 3rd gen some boost. My budget was just over $1000 and it all came together quite easily with the help of this forum and lots of research. Nothing new to add other than this setup...
