There is most definitely a chip shortage, but I agree that you are on to something. They have learned from this experience and due to inventory issues have not had to commit to expensive Floor Plans and tons of locked up capital. Online ordering and wait times are here for the foreseeable future.

Have not had a problem. Run them on my 2020 TRD ORP and on my 2017 Land Rover Discovery. They have been great on both vehicles. No problems balancing, good traction, low noise on the road. I do rotate and balance every 5k miles, however.

They are not standard. And, frankly, if you are going to be doing even moderate off roading, after-market sliders will be preferable.

Land Rover Discovery, even the new ones. Yes, they require regularly scheduled maintenance, but, despite their reputation, never have had one let me or anyone I have known down. My current Disco (2017) is more off-road capable than my 2020 TRD ORP, and it is A LOT better to drive on the road.

I have been told the same by multiple dealers and was even shown an email by a good friend who is a GM of a larger out-of-state dealer from Toyota directly that said that no orders for Pros would be taken for an indefinite amount of time.

Ha! You are correct!! I meant the 2021's. My mistake!! 2021 TRD Pro production has been indefinitely suspended and dealers have been instructed to not take nor submit orders for them until further notice.

This has been confirmed by Toyota directly. 2020 production on TRD Pros has been halted indefinitely and dealers are not able to submit orders to Toyota for this product until further notice.
