I actually haven't clear coated anything. The grill should still be redone, though. The wheels, however, have held up surprisingly well without any clear coat.

I did have to pull the wheels off to plasti-dip them. It would have been a pain otherwise. The hitch step is a 36" Go Rhino.

So a couple days ago I gave the t4r a wash, and powerwashed the wheels while I was at it. None of the plastidip came off, and the edges didn't lose hold or anything like that. If you're out there and contemplating this, I'd say go for it. So far, so good here.

Sorry it's taken me a while to respond. The wheels are actually holding up great. I've driven in rain, over gravel, and just regular road and they look just as good as when I first did them. The edges aren't peeling or giving way at all. I haven't washed them yet, but I'll report back after...

You gotta search. There are a couple threads with step by step instuctions for headlights. Taillights are cake - 2 10mm nuts holding them on. There are access panels in the back for you to remove in order to get to those nuts. To black out: use spray - I've used model car window tint spray...

Ok, sounds good. Do you think the AC compressor could cycle on and off w/ the AC turned off? Or is this something that could only occur while having the AC on?

You know, that would make sense. This has happened on my Dad's Accord for a while as well. However, his was new enough when it started that I couldn't imagine it'd have that issue already. Perhaps a test run w/ and w/o AC is in order. Could it be some other accessory driven by a belt...

Bump. I also have experienced this and am curious. If I'm not mistaken, you can also see the RPMs fluctuating a very small amount while this is going on.
