The RDX really does scoot for a compact SUV. I have the Hondata flash installed as well as stiffer anti-roll bars from Mugen, and it hauls some serious a$$. And when you go easy on it, I see 24-26 MPG. Too bad its 4-cyl needs premium but I guess that comes with the territory of the turbo.

Yep. I try not to think about it. The thought of the sliders and Light Racing UCA's being pulverized really makes me cringe. :/

Hmm this is the first I've heard of block issues with the RDX, thanks for the tip, I can't imagine losing another car already. My '07 has roughly 36k on it now, and I take it to the Acura dealership every 2500 miles for a full "A" service every time.

Maclean beat me to it. I needed the recalibration done 3 times when it started giving me issues at low speeds (VSC would kick in under light braking on dry surfaces, very sketchy). It should be performed free of charge by the dealer. The first generation VSC had/has a lot of frustrating...

Fortunately I am qualified for another insurance carrier, and I have made a few friends in the automobile industry since last frequenting this site, (auction company owners, used car dealer owners, etc) so imagine paying 50% of what a normal used car dealer or private owner would sell their car...

In order to get the full amount from the insurance adjusters I was not allowed to part out the truck. Things like the LR UCA's, ARB bumper, rear suspension (all OME), TRD exhaust, etc... were still on the truck when it was sent to the crusher. Sad I know, but I was able to get nearly $12,000...
