    Locking hub conversion question

Hey eveyone I have a buddy thats doing a SAS on his 94 toyota pickup (not tacoma) and he has locking hubs... I started doing some research and Ive seen a bunch of writeups saying you can pull the locking hubs, spindles and axes off a gen 1 taco (95 or newer) onto a 3rd gen 4Runner. My question...

Its supposed to be ~3" in the front and 3-4" in the rear. It deff feels taller and a little more tippy but not bad at all. But I also removed my sway bars so that probably contributes to the more tippy aspect. As for driving over bumps it feels amazing, I went over a couple speed bumps and it...

New Suspension: Lift it or leave it

I agree with liquidnails but I'm lifting my runner soon. The biggest help on trails is tires by far. With a solid set of 31"/32" tires you can do a ton in a stock 4runner, and I love that about mine but Im getting to where the trucks i 4wheel with have a much easier time and a much nicer ride up...
