Any 4th Gen with shock replacement?

Front left shock was leaking I have an 04 SR5 and at 75K miles, the left front shock was leaking. The bad shock caused the steering wheel to vibrate badly above 50 miles. Funny thing, the dealer couldn't figure out the vibration problem. Anyway, I replaced the fronts with KYB GR-2 at an...

Versahaul or Moto-tote for Sport motorcycle

Rensho, thanks for the heads up on the loose end straps. The bike does block most of the rear lights and I'm planning to purchase the lights first thing tomorrow.

Versahaul or Moto-tote for Sport motorcycle

With 600 lbs on the rear, as you can see, the rear does sag a little. The front does not feel light though. Comparing to towing a trailer with the same amount of weight, hauling the bike is hardly noticeable. So far, I think it's good overall. I'll give a more detail report after the trip.

    Hauling question

Mine has the weight distribution hitch which is rated at 730 lbs. I think it may be ok.

Versahaul or Moto-tote for Sport motorcycle

I bought the versa-haul sport model VH SPORT RO which has the carrying capacity of 600 lbs http://www.versahaul.com/vhsportro.html. My bike weighs about 440 lbs wet and the 4runner came with the 730 lbs tongue rating hitch so maybe it is ok. I will post some pics in a week or so (that's when I...

Versahaul or Moto-tote for Sport motorcycle

Thx 02SE. The 05 g1k should be a monster of a ride and good looking too :). You have a nice collection there. I think I found my answer. I tested the versa-haul out yesterday and the sag was only minimal. I thought the airbags could reduce the weight on the rear suspension but since they...

    Hauling question

Unfortunately, this would be a motorcycle that I'm hauling and it goes on the hitch so the weight would defintely be on the rear and the trip would be for 2000 miles and 4000 miles back and forth so they will be running hot at some point.
