Hey something to look out for, several years ago I was having the same issues. Checked for possible shorts because it was blown, come to find out it was blowing due to high resistance caused by a loose connection in the fuse panel itslef. I apologze if I repeated something else someone said.

    1995 4Runner sputtering

For what its worth, try a distributor, if you can get your hands on a known good, used one. I had a 96 Taco & had the same issues, I replaced about everything that you have, had numerous garages look at it. It would start up run & idle fine but when it would get in the 2000-2500 rpm range it...

    help,rear brake lights not working!

You can put the meter on continuity and just touch the two leads together, if it beeps then its good, the easiest way would be put one lead on the negative post of the battery then touch a fender bolt, intake manifold, something, if it beeps then your good to go

    Electronic locking differential

Well that was one of my concerns was the axle width, I'll probably just try the third member swap instead. Thanks for the advice.

    Electronic locking differential

I have tried google, and all I've found is swapping the the third member, and doing some mods to the axle housing. I can do that no problem but would rather just swap the entire rear so in case something were to happen I would have a back up. Just wondering if anyone on here has done the swap...
