I gave home depo a shot when reflooring my house. They came across as incompetent and in no hurry to complete a deal. Ended up using a small local company instead and don’t regret that decision. Could have just been my local HD, but their flooring Dept was pathetic.

Huge fan of the 4.0, and hated the third gen tacoma 3.5. Hoping they continue with a 4L option at least.

I’ve always used gorilla lugs for peace of mind. It’s only more of a deterrent like most locks, but fines some mental security.

POR-15 or fluid film seem to be the common go to’s assuming the goal is rust prevention

What went wrong?

ARB twin gets my vote, and is what I’m putting in my current 4Runner under the hood. May not fit the definition of affordable, and if not then I’d go with an ARB single.
