Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac. 265/70R/16. 2nd set in 5 years (~12kmiles/year). Some road noise but handles NorthEast winters like its nothing. As far as fuel economy issue, I have a lead foot so I can't guarantee their "negative" in that case but I didn't buy the 4Runner for its fuel efficiency.

I ended up removing the headliner and sunroof unit, unclogged the lines, put in a spare unit and it worked fine. Old unit had a seized cable and clumped grease. It's not the ideal solution but it got the job done

So I've had this issue previously in my 3rd gen 4Runner, which lead me to do some brake work. I put on steel braided hoses on the front, and upgraded my booster and master cylinder to a T100. Didn't have any issues until today I was going home in some snow and hard brake pedal and no stopping...

Only do 5-10 over speed limit. I haven't noticed any significant difference when I've driven faster for some aspects (as in driving 15 over but still getting same MPG).
