I recently looked at an 07 that has the two tiered storage and when you flip the rear seats forward there is an open area behind them.
Would a rifle or shotgun fit in here? Maybe with the barrel removed? I didn't have a tape measure with me to check the width.
My 06 Tacoma does too. It can also be used to "bump start" your vehicle if it stalls on a loose uphill climb.
Hold the button in with the vehicle in gear and the clutch let out and turn the key. The vehicle will start in gear.
