First few hundred on the Wrangler Territory MT

Just FYSA, I recently sold my 4Runner to go back to a fullsize truck. I got about 10k into the Territory and have nothing but great things to say about them. They did really, really well. A bit louder than an AT would be my only complaint, but their performance on road and off was superb...

    How-To-Guide (TRD CAI) Installation

Yeah i dont doubt that premium would be better. I wouldnt be surprised if Toyota’s power claims are based on 91 fuel. Hills drive on cruise control is best i can give you for a claim. It doesnt go to third but a couple times along the route with it; disconnect the calibrator box and it hunts...

    How-To-Guide (TRD CAI) Installation

Just 87. I havent seen the ignition advance tables or the tables for closed loop fueling authorities over global fueling to know how much of a benefit running 93 is. Heck, i dont even know for sure where the cross over point is on TPA and RPM to know when it switches from closed to open...

    How-To-Guide (TRD CAI) Installation

Alters the maf signal to correct fueling at the ecu. I didnt dyno it to know what the actual number gain was. I base it on drivability feel at the pedal; and downshifts. A route through hills Ive driven about 100 times, the addition of the MAF controller eliminated the downshifts to 3rd gear...

    Really like having KDSS

For me it was about an emergency lane change at 70mph with a lifted and loaded truck, not trying to make it some kind of canyon carver….and then hitting a button at the trail head that aids articulation.

    How-To-Guide (TRD CAI) Installation

I like mine. Definitely added some grunt. My mpgs now with the TRD intake/exhaust and URD maf controller box with the truck on 3” lift at 33’s is slightly higher than it was stock. So, im happy.

    New: TRD Pro or ORP?

Opinions vary, and there are plenty in each camp. Imo the Pro is grossly over priced for what amounts to a set of shocks(though they are nice) and a nicer climate control dash. In my area, Pro’s are $70k+, and ive seen as high as $77k, and they sell at those prices. I bought my ORP-KDSS, all...

    Really like having KDSS

I cant wait to get the KDSS controller wired up. It’s such a great system. I cannot for the life of me understand why people buy TRD PRO 4runners. You can buy a KDSS OR and install full skids, KDSS control, and Icon/Kings/Elka’s and still have money left over, and have a truck that is...

    Really like having KDSS

A set of small body internal bypass shocks don’t hold a candle to the capabilities of a sway bar system like KDSS. Standard 4runner shocks arent great, but a set of standard 2.0 fox shocks with a butterfly stack valve will match the performance of the pro suspension. IMO the only reasons not...

What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

It comes with all new. Ill swap it out eventually or frankly just tape them off and rattle can them black. I was just in a hurry to get it done.

What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Yeah i got them for that reason, the rear spray, and, and the rubbing. My only complaint is the silver hardware. I dont mind the look of some flap. Especially when its working.

What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Only a few hundred miles in, but So far so good. I ended up with them by mistake, sort of. Duratracs went to 2 ply side wall and i ruled them out. Tire Rack told me these were 3, but when they arrived they are only 2. If that doesnt prove to be an issue i think ill end up liking them for a long...
