I think my sockets are toast. and no junk yards around here have any (no 4runners in junk yards... :lol:) and i definitely don't want to end up at the stealership. could you point be in the right direction?

did you have any luck with this project? I am thinking about putting my sewing skills to the test but i don't really want to remove the ones i have in the seats currently. recent trips to the salvage yard yielded nothing.

For the passenger side light. Stand facing the back of the vehicle and use your right hand (yes it wil be a pain in the knuckles) grab & twist-ish it will eventually come out. Use the same technique for the drivers side using your left hand. Sounds strange but it worked for me
