Your door latch isn't going anywhere (provided you're not over 400lbs) but I would be concerned about the bottom piece denting or scratching your door jam. I'm not sure how thick the sheet metal is in that area.

They should be M8x1.25 if they had a 12MM head or M6x1.25? (don't quote me on the pitch) if they have a 10MM head. You could probably find some at the hardware store or online somewhere like McMaster.

One of my buddies is running a TransGo shift kit from Ebay. We did all the work ourselves and it 100% made a difference. It slips less and shifts faster as well. If you're brave enough to dive in to your trans and drill some irreversible holes then I say go for it!

Yup, a ma and pa shop is the way to go. I've had my local shop swap so many used tires around for me that they know me by name now lol. Plus they only charged $5/tire, $20/tire if they were disposing it. It was way cheaper than any chain place I went to.
