Its a added expense but worth it if get your cam shaft seals replaced when doing the timing belt. Did the timing belt/water pump on mine but not the cam seals.. Now a couple years later I have a cam seal leaking...

Camshaft seal I noticed oil in the same area on my v8 as and pretty sure its the camshaft seal. Not a easy and cheap fix https://youtu.be/3htWFtHrOPw

Ok! Ive been waiting 3 months for some field tech to call and look at my seat!! Im about to give up on letting Toyota fixing the issue and try to fix the piece of junk seat myself!!

Ive had every TSB done on my 06 4Runner and still have the seat pop. The last thing they tried was shave some pins which made it worse. Now some Field tech that comes in my area once a month is supposed to look at it. I dont really have much confidence in Toyota fixing my seat.

Yeah they have replaced the seat frame and did something with some seat pins.

Well I took my 4runner in for my seat for the 4th or 5th or..... i have lost count now. They are sending some field tech to look at my runner. He comes around my area once a month. So who the heck knows what will happen??

Coolpop, Sounds like are seat problems and experiences are the same. The last time my seat was worked on they either removed of filed down some seat pins. The seat is 10x worse now!! It creaks/pops all the time! Went back to the dealership thursday and scheduled another(this will the be the 4th...

I had my dealership replace the seat track and remove some pins in the seat frame and still no luck!! There are 2 TSBs that I know of for seats. My dealership has been great to work with but it still isnt fixed!!Mine is a 06 with electric seats. The seat moves and makes a popping sound.
