right on, these vehicles can be very reliable. so fix things as they come you'll learn a lot along the way personally i'd want something a little better condition but heck if you can get it at a cheapo price and its near by, clean her up throw a clutch in and drive it

yea most likely your ignition switch is causing it, should be able to get a new one for about 30-40 bux. I replaced one before takes about a hour.
