Popcorn, I installed car audio and alarms for 3.5 years while in college and honestly it sounds like you have a bad alarm brain/computer. These mishaps are very common amoung dealer installed alarms. I would by all means try to take you vehicle back to the dealer and get that thing taken out...

***UPDATE*** ***UPDATE*** 11/17/2004--Just heard back from the dealer and found out that it was two leaking (blown) shocks in the rear that were causing the spring to absorb all of the travel, and therefore causing a clanking sound in the upper suspension area. I'm somewhat at a loss for words...
