I tow a 20 foot Mastercraft X2 that weighs in around 4,500 with trailer, boat, and gas. I use a 2 inch drop and tow just fine. Also, it has hydrolic brakes. It'd be nice to have electric, but the hydrolic brakes for what my needs and uses are is not bad.

Hmmmmm, interesting. How much weight does that lift support? We just spent around $8k for a lift that supports 5k lbs, and has a wakeboard tower canopy that's around 24 feet long.

I have that CRKT knife and love it. I carry it mostly on duty when I'm working at the PD. I also carry a KA-Bar on duty as well. It has a nice little sheath that is retention, and you put your inner belt thru it, then your duty belt on top of that. So it's kind of concealed.

I used to be a part of a Jetta GLI forum back in the day. Those guys made up little business cards that said GLI.org, or something like that. You could print them out, and everytime you'd see a GLI, you'd slip one of those cards under their wiper.

Yea, the trailer has breaks, but they're hydraulic breaks. And the weight capacity of my vehicle is 5k lbs. I also towed out 19' Seadoo X20 quite a bit. It also had hydraulic breaks and a single axle, but that boat weighed, total, about 4k lbs.
