I removed the drivers seat so I could lie on my back and get nice and close to unclip the plug (I am note sure if the angle of rotation varies with each build, but the release pin was at a really hard angle to get to on mine....) then...

I just fitted a remote start alarm to my JDM Hilux Surf... the final piece missing is the brake light/kill switch.
Has anyone tried tapping into the green/white wire from this switch at that location? If so what witchcraft did you use because I can't seem...
This is not just 4Runner (or Hilux Surf :cheers:) specific, I had exactly the same thing happen in my MA-70 supra, the lower ball joint sheared off and the car dropped. Luckily that thing was lowered not raised so in "dropped" less than an inch :biggrin2:
