Car Washes: Is touch less really that big of a deal?

I have been using a foam spinner type car wash for several years; over the last year or so they went to 19.99 or 29.99 per month for as many times as you want to drive through...I have never driven through more than twice in a month, so don't know if they would sever your per month for abusing...

2016 TRD PRO or 2016 Trail Premium?

Since you have a TRD Pro on order, must be what you wanted, could have ordered anything...go with your initial gut...almost 60 years of life experiences tells me you will be happier...

Toyota's Official Tacoma Press Release Specifics

They sure didn't seem to do much improvement in the MPG category, with 2 new engines. That is terrible MPG for a 4 cylinder engine. Seems to me they may need to study Mazda's Skyactive technology...

    Power tailgate on Limited 2015?

My wife had one on her Ford Escape...since traded for a Mazda CX-5. It was painful standing there with hands full of stuff until it finally opened. BUT, it was nice to push a button to close it and hear an audible click when it closed.

    TRD Pro won't go!

OP, I'm sure you've probably thought about it, but just in case...perhaps bad gasoline?

GOP Insider: How Religion Destroyed My Party

And pretty much not fixable now that the SCOTUS has ruled the Presidency is pretty much for sale to whomever has the most money... Wouldn't be so bad if all voters would do their own research, but 99% will rely on what they hear on political commercials or the bought and paid for news channels...

Lexus dealers testing out no-haggle buying

"They are used to getting a discount or a coupon that makes them feel like they’re scoring a deal, which they might not get in a no-negotiation environment, Merriman said." Pretty sure they'll leave the window sticker on with MSRP and then tag it 500-1000k lower which will still be multiple...

Soap Box Opinion, Suggestion blah blah

Well, I'll admit I haven't visited the FJ forum (because I generally don't go to forums of things I don't own, can't comment from experience on, etc.), but I'm willing to go way out on a limb and say that if you do criticize anyone, in any forum, like an adult (meaning without profanity, name...

    6th gen 2017 4R, will it exist?

Guess I don't get these kind of thoughts, that an SUV should be "fast". I mean I had a Mustang 5.0 that could do 0-60 in sub 5, but I would never expect something as big as a 4R to do that. On my way home, it's part highway. Then entrance ramp is approx 50ft...and I can be doing close to 60...

Are you Happy with your 4runner LE?

While I can't compare to other 4R models as this is my first, I really am loving it. The two things I would change, if I could...get rid of all the gaudy chrome (I mean really, this much chrome on a vehicle went out in the 70's) and the 3rd row seats would go, mainly because I don't need them...

5th gen 4Runner earns "least fun to drive" rating

Bill's AIS survey says consumer reports results on this topic are most ridiculous thing ever read! Granted he has only had AIS for about 1500 miles or so, but certainly seems to enjoy driving it daily and also realizes how much almost all the other "SUVs" look alike...thus MUCH preferring the...

    2015 Aftermarket Mats (not liners)

Try CARiD.com - Auto Parts & Accessories | Car, Truck, SUV, Jeep. I bought a set of custom fit for wife's escape before we traded it and they fit like a glove...not sure what brand they were (lloyd's I think, with tons of color/embroider options), but you'll see all the choices once you go...

    Holy clogged arteries Batman!!!

FWIW, seems to me that engineers generally do the "safest" thing, not necessarily the best things to make your vehicle run great. Example...last two mustangs I owned I bought tuners for, the kind of tuners where you plug into the ECU and change settings. Result, my vehicle ran better, shifted...
