If you're doing fogs, Lamin-x has worked great for me, and the yellow color helps in snow storms. Wouldn't recommend doing any of the other lights though.

I've personally never heard of a 4th gen having the pink milkshake issue. Having owned both a manual 3rd and a auto 4th, I'd say it comes down to trail time vs highway time. As much fun as the 3rd was on the trails, the 4th is WAY more comfortable, faster and safer on the highway. Fits my needs...
