    2017 Honda Ridgeline

Was wondering if you forgot about this thread, but obviously you didn’t. @Thai Thanks for this thread. I have you to thank for getting me spending a lot of time following this vehicle (again). Almost bought the 1st gen but we got our 5th gen 4Runner instead. I've still been following this...

    2017 Honda Ridgeline

Yes, probably driving too fast Maybe go back and read the section of the article with the heading "Unfinished Business". Also the Taco was a TRD Off Road and the Titan was as XD-Pro 4X. These are marketed as "off road" ready. The Ridgeline is not marketed to be. None of them have the greatest...

    So, who has a RAV4?

I'd Muzzle a Honda V6 Not really sure if your wife is even going to look at any Honda models with a V6, but I'll go ahead and give my $.02 anyhow. I have spent a lot of time researching on a couple of different Honda forums I'm on. And I'd have to second this notion. Honda has made some minor...

    Toyota dealer blows up engine

@slowstride Sure hope that your wife's 4Runner isn't going to cost you as much as the $10K to $20K you were first quoted. Hope that you're getting somewhere with this situation. Give an update when you can with the outcome, either way. Best of luck.

    Expectations

Maybe an oldie to some, but a goodie. Enjoy! Many thanks to the OP @1engineer not only for this but the many other contributors you make to this section of the forum. Just felt like this thread deserves being resurrected. Still seems relevant today.:ranger:

    Here she is w/AC seats

This just doesn’t “sit” well with me. I think this thread title is misleading. It just seems like others coming across this aren’t being told up front that all this discussion is ultimately about fans in the seat, period. I happy for anyone that’s adding this to their 4Runner and gets good...

Glad To Be Here - A Few Questions...

Automatic Slug Control Having all of your previous vehicles equipped with standard transmissions; most new automatics are going to make for quite an adjustment for you. Your 4Runner will "wake up" once you begin to understand how it's programmed. The throttle is electronic and won't respond...

    Seat Differences

IIRC it's actually just ventilated front seats, not cooled. Nice yes, but not quite that nice. Just wanted to clarify that. Good luck either way. Each of the models have have their pros and cons depending on your wants, needs and tastes. Might be getting what you had in your past LE. Obviously...

Do I have wiper de-icers or not?

On ours the Rear Defrost heats the Side Mirrors as well. The Windshield Wiper De-icer switch is dedicated only to that function.
