Ok, so my alternator tensioner decided that it wanted to unbolt itself the other day, so I took off the distributor, ps pump to get to it, and when I put everything back it cranked but didn't start. I figured it was the dis. out of alignment, so I found tdc on the compression stroke and matched...

Looks good! I'm curious, when you say that the ride improves, what improves about it? Also, when putting the spring in, how did you compress it?

Ok. From what I've read, BJ spacers will just lift it up a bit, and cracking the t bars will make the ride stiffer? What happens if I get bigger spacers and relax the t bars?

So I'm thinking about doing this on my 89 4runner to give it a softer ride. My question is what the option is for the front? From what I understand, this jacks up the back end a bit. Is there something I can do (cheaply) to bring the front end up level?

No problems running, once it warms up it's more responsive, but other than that, there aren't any issues while driving. Just starting. No codes, just the fuel light, but I haven't had time to switch the bulb back to the incandescent bulb yet. One other unusual thing, I've been getting awful...

OK, awesome! I'm not sure on the fan shroud.... I'll have to look around for it. Knowing me, I probably threw it away hah.

So if I wanted to run the clutch fan, which fan blades should I order? When I ordered the clutch that everyone said to get, it didn't fit my blades at all... The clutch fan does sound like the way to go, and this was the only reason I didn't do it earlier.
