For tools you just need a metric ratchet set. Some extensions. If you want the belt, ratcheting wrenches for the adjustment bolts of the power steering pump etc. If they cut the timing belt plastic guard, grab that too. Glad I could help. I found a new woodruff key at ace hardware, as for a stock pulley, no luck for me. I had to order a performance pulley.

Sounds just like my situation. Ok, so you’ll need to take off the pulley and look closely at the key slot in the pulley and the condition of the woodruff key in the shaft. In my case the pulley was “egged out” a bit. Only takes a tiny fraction of an inch of play to make them very noisy. If that...

Before you do a full rebuild, check your pulley. Mine sounded exactly the same, and it was just an egged out pulley keyslot. You’ll need a new pulley, and check the woodruff key is in good condition. If their is no play, then yes, you may need a rebuild.
