The brackets are C brackets - they bolt through the floor on the bottom of the C and into the seat through the top of the C. Takes <5 minutes to take the seat out (but the C brackets stay in the truck).
Base is 38" x 16"
It sits about 24" tall at a slight angle - and that is not including the mounting brackets. The mounting brackets raise the seat up ~ 4"

Also did not mention - it is easily reversible (4 bolts) to be rear facing. Convenient for tailgating / watching your kids' soccer games.
