I did the ECGS swap a couple of years back. Overall a good experience and has been good with no issues so far. Only note is it took a good 3-4 weeks for them to ship it to me so if it is something you are needing quick the rebuild might be a better option. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The head gasket isn’t a problem on the V8’s. All you have to watch out for on the V8 is the water pump and timing belt. As far as a recall goes, the odds are very slim as it’s been so long and so many complaints already. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
