It is clear coated. They have been in there for a couple months now with no scratching or any problem. The place that did it guarantees it for life.

I had mine all hydrodipped not the cheapest option out there but I love the way it came out.

So glad I didn't pull the trigger on this last week guess I will be waiting a few more days before I order.
