    Upper Control Arm preference

Just put on the dirt king ball joint uppers yesterday. These things are beautiful. Also got the new caps but didn’t get a picture. They aligned perfectly, you can get all the caster you want lol. I’d highly recommend them. I went with them because you can run them with factory wheels and no...

No I don’t. Only ran it for a couple months before we got rid of the 4runner. We don’t have anywhere to take it off road down here. I did flex it once on my car hauler trailer but didn’t take pictures.

    Choosing tire sizes

Here ya go... yea, the cooper ST Maxx are pretty aggressive for an 'all terrain tire'. Width wise you'd never know they're narrower than the factory tires. Biggest thing to remember is the metric width size on the tire is section width, not tread width. They're roughly the same 99% of the...

    Bilstein setting with lift coil

Same here... I ended up just using the bottom setting with the Dobinson springs. So far so good, I'll finish putting the front end back together in the morning. I buggered the threads on the driver side lower strut bolt somehow removing it, and no one in Houston has one. Has to come from...

    Bilstein setting with lift coil

No... when you move the clip up you're preloading the spring, higher clip, more squeeze on the spring. That's WHY it lifts the truck. Springs are rated in pounds per inch, and have a load rating. It takes for instance 300# to squeeze it an inch. It takes another 300 (600 total) to squeeze it...

    Bilstein setting with lift coil

Ok... been searching for a while. I'm sitting in my shop looking at this pile of parts, I'm done pulling the Dobinson set up off the truck. I 'acquired' a 5100 set up in putting on to lower the truck down a bit. My brother in law gave me a full 5100 set up and SAW 1.5" rears. My question...
