In any case, I called Toyota Customer Assistance Center today and gave them my VIN number. Toyota indicated that my vehicle is not affected...
My wife and I purchased 2004 4Runner Sport Edition (V6-4WD) in early January 2004. We love the vehicle!
How can I determine the vehicle manufacture date from the vehicle VIN?
I just read that Toyota issued a TSB about a potential crankshaft problem.
