    Snap Shades

Another post to bump this, because I think long-term thoughts are important. I'll be buying these again for whatever car replaces the 4Runner. Anyone with kids, these are well worth the premium cost over those ridiculous universal sun shades, window socks, etc. that are one-size-fits-all. These...

    Snap Shades

Follow-up to this; going to edit my other post also. I’ve had these for however long now, like 6 months or something. Yea they’re not perfect fit, but they’re a solid A. It’s like scoring a 96-99 on a test out of 100; it’s A or A+ territory, but it’s not quite 100. I agree they won’t let...

    Snap Shades

First image you can kind of see how snug the bottom is. It doesn't sit in the window channel and you can see slack on the netting from how the shade has to sit "in front of" the support bar for the small rear window section. the overall shade also needs to be maybe 1/8" narrower (front-to-back...

    Snap Shades

Mine showed up, put them in yesterday. I'll get some pictures later to add. This is comparing them to the "standard" magnetic style shades that are more universal (we had something along the lines of: Amazon.com: Munchkin Brica Magnetic Stretch to Fit Sun Shade, Black, 2 Pack : Everything Else)...

    Snap Shades

Agreed. Getting these for kids in the back, tired of fighting with the magnet generic cloth ones. I like that these can just pop in and out in 5 seconds instead of a minute or two each while I untangle and finesse Someone should make an actual video of how these pop in and how snug and fitted...

Any update on these? Looking to pick up a set but $100 is spendy if they haven’t worn well.

How Much Weight Does Soundproofing Add ?

Mass Loaded Vinyl is what you want for actual sound deadening. Dynamat and these other products are meant to reduce vibrations. Yea they'll deaden some sound, but not as effectively. MLV is 1lb / sq ft, so calculate based off that. CLD tiles (Dynamat, Rammat, any other brands) are meant for...

Alpha Fox Trot Design Roof Rack & Ladder Review

Good on them for making 3D rails for the side rails. Should keep back-and-forth to a bare minimum. Lots of people have issues with rooftop tents on other racks that use flat side rails swaying back-and-forth and "squealing" as things move and sway.

storage containers that fit across cargo area

Came to say same thing. Front Runner Wolf Pack boxes will fit two across and two deep on the cargo tray, and can be stacked 2-3 high depending on your needs.

Bull Bar + Dynamic Radar Cruise Control / Distance Control Mode / PCS

Just skip the bull bar and then nothing will interfere? Bull bar doesn't do anything anyways other than decrease approach angle.

    Skids Custom Audio Install

Why use all this seemingly fancy stuff and then not use normal equipment like crossovers for the tweeters? Or not enclose the whole rear of the speaker and instead use it as an umbrella?
