Mass Loaded Vinyl is what you want for actual sound deadening. Dynamat and these other products are meant to reduce vibrations. Yea they'll deaden some sound, but not as effectively. MLV is 1lb / sq ft, so calculate based off that. CLD tiles (Dynamat, Rammat, any other brands) are meant for...

Good on them for making 3D rails for the side rails. Should keep back-and-forth to a bare minimum. Lots of people have issues with rooftop tents on other racks that use flat side rails swaying back-and-forth and "squealing" as things move and sway.

Came to say same thing. Front Runner Wolf Pack boxes will fit two across and two deep on the cargo tray, and can be stacked 2-3 high depending on your needs.

friend just got these. not KO2's but replaced cooper discoverer at3 xlt. he said the toyo's are noticeably louder on the freeway

Why use all this seemingly fancy stuff and then not use normal equipment like crossovers for the tweeters? Or not enclose the whole rear of the speaker and instead use it as an umbrella?
