Thanks for the honest feedback. The finicky tech might be a deal breaker for me. I have a very good setup with Android Auto in my V8 4th Gen, and stepping 'down' to uncooperative and limited Bluetooth capability is probably more than I'm willing to pay for.

90% of the time on 3rd and 4th gens, metal rattling in the undercarriage at particular flex or engine RPM is loose exhaust shields. They like to rust and come loose, causing annoying but harmless noises.

No dice on the antenna amp fix, unfortunately. Doesn't look like the antenna amp is receiving any juice with both the blue wires on the green plug clipped. Will need to wait until this weekend to dig back into it. Will follow up once I know more.

That's the kicker. Yes, the GX requires premium, which these days runs up to $1.00 more per gallon, for marginally improved power and next to zero real world improvement once the GX's increased weight is taken into account.
