Alpine HU in dash, replacing the stock

With your Metra dash kit did it make it sit back in the dash versus how that one looks?

Need a head unit that'll handle Sirius and iPod connection in a 4th gen

I just with the Alpine CDA 105. We are installing it today so I will let you know. I also looked at the Apline xm ready one versus having to buy the extra piece for 159 where i live. But the CDA 105 is supposedly a better unit

I am looking to replace my limited 04 JBL with RDS and 6 disk with something that will fit the hole. Any recommendations?
