I got a 9 year 90,000 mile extension from AutoNation which they said is like the Toyota warranty, only longer.

I had the same question and opted for the 26 because I found a great car that I loved.

I just went through this analysis. I ended up with the 4Runner and chose the Platinum trim which closed the gap on most of the differences, in my opinion. My wife did not like the outside mirror shape either. I love my new Platinum 4Runner, I got it two days ago.
