The clicking when you first accelerate is different. My 2008 4Runner made that sound, as well as my 2015. This click is one little click each time you depress the brake pedal. Sometimes I think I can even feel the click in my foot. But I may just be going crazy...

I have an '08 V6 4x4 and it makes the same sound that I think you are describing. After the vehicle is started and first put into drive, there is a quick clicking sound once it gets to about 10mph. From the research I've done, this sound is normal and it's the ABS system running some test.
