I went and bought a bench grinder and wire wheel just for cleaning up bolt threads

Have new brakes and all hardware associated from MC all the way back, the only thing not brand new are lines, hoses, E cable, rear cylinders and booster. Brakes still fade almost to floor, they do hold but have long travel, and ebrake doesnt lock up the rear. Has new bell cranks and cables...
